Delicious sin,
Tempting his heart.
He decided to play God,
Looking for eternity.
Cruel time vanishing beauty.
If he only
Blue eyes searching adventure.
If he only
Youth boiling his blood.
If he only could live forever
Defying nature,
He made a pact,
And decided to play God,
Getting so eternity.
The sin would no longer matter.
His heart was completely poisoned.
Sinning. Playing.
He already had eternity

Tide to a broken heart
I tried to do something I shouldn't have.
I put my foot forward when I should have stayed back.
But you pushed me onward, as if I was a ball.
You made me love you, you made me want you.
And I tried to play God, to pull you closer,
but it only ended with this broken heart.
Where I stand in the middle of pain and loneliness.
Because I tried to be something I'm not.
Not only for you, but also for me,
and in the end, this pride was my downfall.

what gods are watching?
From their perch a-way up high,
They watch hallelujah birth
and gospel truths and churches sound
cross cracked and barren earth,
And listening and appreciative
They are of all these praise
They wonder bout our preservation
And gamble number and days
Till we, at last! fade away
From our neglected ground
In good faith of heaven above
Without ever looking down
Sunsets cut like splinters
Tween the clouds that gather again
Where the gods that should be way up high
Descend to earth as rain
There is not a moment
I can sincerely say,
"I wish I could change that."
Not a minute, not a day,
There's no time to play God,
No interval or any gap
Where a butterflies wings
Won't change it all into a mishap.
